Cayuga Wine Trail West: Taste & Learn
Wednesday, October 15th - 1:00 PM -6:30 PM
Join us for a unique experience on the Cayuga Wine Trail.
This is
not your standard wine tour. At one of our highly-acclaimed
wineries, a winemaker will take you on a private, behind-the-scenes
tour. Learn about the winery, its history, stroll through its
vineyards, take a close look at its approach to winemaking.
A private tasting follows, where you will
experience wines paired with carefully selected foods that bring out
their unique qualities. Next, we visit two additional, high-quality
wineries that we have specifically
chosen to round out your tasting
experience. At each winery you will savor the flavors and varieties of
the wines themselves, and sample carefully prepared food-wine
combinations.
We often end this tour with a brief stop at the beautiful Taughannock Falls overlook, the tallest waterfall in the eastern US. This overall touring experience will stimulate both your palate and your mind.
Price: $65.00 per person. The tour departs from the Cornell Hotel School - Beck Center entrance at 1:00 pm and returns in time for dinner at 6:30 pm.
Price: $65 per person if reserved prior to September 15, 2008, $75 per person if booked after September 15th. Pre-registration and confirmation is required for this tour. Tour limited to 55 guests.

Waterfalls and Wine: Trek & Taste
Wednesday, October 15th - 1:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Here is your chance to experience two of the region's most famous attractions: our watefalls and wineries. First, learn hand why "Ithaca is
Gorges". Enjoy one of the Finger Lakes most famous falls "up-close-and-personal in its full autumn regalia with a 3/4 mile easy walk to the base of Taughannock Falls. You will receive a guided interpretive hike along the gorge trail learning how the glaciers carved out the gorges hundreds of thousands years ago.
After a refreshing break of ice cream from our very
own Purity Ice Cream, we will transport you to two favorite stops along the Cayuga Wine Trail. Our first stop will be Bellwether Hard Cider, the only Cidery on the Cayuga Wine Trail. You will sample wonderful examples of this classic American beverage: from sparkling
